Thank you for visiting Hidden Acres Ranch! We are located in Amsterdam, NY in the beautiful Mohawk Valley. Our ranch is on the bank of the mighty Mohawk River with the former Erie Canal running through our property. The scenic New York State bike path allows travelers to rest and watch our majestic and award winning Boer Goats enjoying life in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.
We began our quest for top quality Boer goats in 2001. Dr. M. B. Rad searched throughout the United States for the toughest and best of the breed set forth by South African standards. He became well known in the Boer Goat circuit for buying only "the best" no matter what the cost. We have collected the best gene pool in the country and they are found only at Hidden Acres Ranch! We brought this fine herd to New York where they now are producing award winning progeny.
